EPFL/LCA2 (Prof. Jean-Yves Le Boudec) is recruiting post-doc researchers for the EPFL smart grid project, a joint effort with EPFL/DESL. We are building an on-campus smart grid using IPv6 and are performing research in collaboration with industrial partners.
The research activities will mainly revolve around the analysis, design and implementation of mechanisms for managing the variabilty and uncertainty of renewables in the smart grid.
The research activities will mainly revolve around the design and implementation of algorithms and communication protocols for controlling an electrical distribution network.
PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, communication systems, or computer engineering, with a convincing publication record.
