Post Doc : Sensor Network with Guaranteed Delay

EPFL/LCA2 (Prof. Jean-Yves Le Boudec) is recruiting one post-doc researcher in the area of a communication system for the smart grid.

Required skills and expertise:

• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English (French is a plus but is not required)
• Strong background in networking

Education: 

• PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, communication systems, or computer engineering, with a convincing publication record.

Mission: 

• Contribute to the research efforts of the smart grid project at EPFL; some participation in the teaching mission is also expected.

The research activities will mainly revolve around the design and implementation of a communication network for monitoring and controlling an electrical distribution network.
